Adriaan Schalkwijk and I, designed the space for Winery Norte 32, located in Valle de Guadalupe, B.C., Mexico.

We proposed an helicoidal structure 12m tall that anchors and landmarks not only the fine wine tasting and event space, but also it's height turnes it into an emblem of the local landscape.

We designed the furniture and architectural limits using moved dirt and rocks from the site, while adding gabions as extra structural support and also for flora and fauna.

The design of the tower is thought to endure the harsh climate of the desert while making it possible to bulid in such a remote area with common tools and vehicles.
