Nesa is a prototype for a joinery based table that explores alternative ways of assembly.

In Mexico's slang the word "mecatazo" refers to a quick fixture using a  sort of rope or twine made up of fibers called "mecate".

It is very common to see such improvised, yet in some cases, well thought out fixings throughout the city and in everyday life.

The table was presented at Salone Satelite de Milano in 2012 as part of the From DF With Love Collection, directed by Sean Yoo and Centro.
