Fomento a la Lectura (Reading Encouragement)

We can build entire universes in our minds by reading a book. But what if books could also build actual physical spaces?

​

A proposal for flat-pack, collapsible furniture that is constructed and assembled using book binding techniques, integrating corrugated cardboard and plywood panels for lightweight and strength.

The project was developed for a contest launched by the Secretaria de Cultura to promote and inspire the habit of reading.
