Along with María Calderón from estudio RED and architects ToroLab, I developed the concept design, construction drawings and supervision for the 2022 Iberoamerican Architecture Biennale exhibition.
The museography’s proposal main element is the door as a symbol of movement, openness and transparency and is executed by a system that uses commercial doors, hinges and other intervened hardware as the main elements of construction.
This characteristics enables the modules in the exhibition to “fold” or “close” according to spatial needs and allowing easy transportation or replication in the other various locations where the exhibition travels.
