Broom Sticks Shelving System 

 

This is an experimental modular shelving system inspired on the way brooms and brushes are displayed in local markets in Mexico City. The connection system is based on the principle of positive and negative, adjusting the scale of the "threads" or sticks, the material properties allow for a stable, easy to assemble joinery. 

 

The project was granted first place during the 2010 D&AD Student Awards in London, under the furniture design category.
